Hi, my name is Susan (Donald Sister) and I’m fundraising for my brother Donald, who recently suffered three strokes and is now facing serious medical complications — ,spent the last 6 days in the hospital and has partial vision loss in one eye. He can not work or drive until he is cleared by the doctors.
Donald is self-employed and lives alone, so the effects of the strokes have left him unable to work and struggling to care for himself. His doctors have made it clear: he cannot return to work until further notice, and there’s no clear timeline for his recovery.
Right now, Donald needs help covering $2,000/month in rent and essential bills, not including food, transportation, or ongoing medical care. Without any income, he’s quickly falling behind, and we’re doing everything we can to keep him stable during this difficult time.
Donald has always been independent and hardworking. Asking for help is not easy for him — or for me — but this is truly a life-changing moment, and we need the support of our community, friends, and family more than ever.
We’re raising $6,000 to $10,000 to help Donald stay in his home, keep his utilities running, and cover essential living costs for the next few months while he focuses on healing.
If you’re able to contribute — even a small amount — you’ll be making a real difference in someone’s life. And if you can’t give, please consider sharing this campaign with others who might be able to help.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
—Sister Susan
