Please help if you can, in support of my dad, Donald Hitch, in his battle with cancer.
In May of 2021, Don had a pet scan performed, which revealed he had lung cancer. In early June he will be travelling down to Prince George for a lung function test and then Vancouver for a bronchoscopy and biopsy.
He has also been referred for radiation. Whether it be through radiation therapy or chemotherapy is not yet known to us, but we will update this page when that knowledge is available.
At this moment, we are calculating at least 4 round trips for these various procedures that involve weeks of out of town travel and accommodation. All donations are going towards maintaining both him and 1 other person who will accompany him during these travels down to Vancouver for operations and procedures.
As this is new to us, there is no telling how this goes with certainty. So any donation would greatly be appreciated. Also, if you could share this wherever possible, please do, and thank you for your kindness.
