My close friend, Dona Acona, a strong and loving mum of three living in Karratha, WA, is facing one of the toughest moments of her life.

Dona is 8 months pregnant with triplets, and because she is not a permanent resident, nnot all of her medical expenses are covered by insurance. This includes her emergency hospital stay, specialist care, medications, and the intensive NICU support the babies will need after birth.

Recently, due to complications, Dona was urgently transferred from Karratha to Perth by the Flying Doctor Service. She is scheduled for a C-section next week, and all three babies are expected to go straight to the NICU for life-saving care.

The financial and emotional pressure is overwhelming, especially with Christmas approaching. Dona is trying her best to stay strong for her three children and her incoming triplets.
