For those of you who don't know, our dad has been quite the medical enigma. He has been dealing with a persistent low-grade fever for over 250 consecutive days. Despite numerous tests and consultations, we are still searching for answers. His doctors have recommended a specific scan at the Cleveland Clinic that could provide the much-needed insight. Unfortunately, insurance has denied coverage for this scan, labeling it as "too experimental." Even after appealing the decision with supporting evidence, it was denied again. We are grateful to my dad's doctor, who continues grappling with insurance. However, we are at a point of paying for the scan out of pocket to expedite the process and bring an end to my father's daily suffering. Any donations would greatly help cover the cost and support our parents during this challenging time.
