Hello, friends - Many of you know Don Stockey as a kind and generous friend who has shared laughter and camaraderie on the ice and has given back to his community through the Open Net Foundation and the Boy Scouts. Don has been going through an especially tough time recently. His wife, Deborah, has been facing serious health issues, and Don made the selfless choice to become her full-time caregiver. Unfortunately, this has also meant a loss of his job, leaving the family with limited financial support as they try to manage healthcare costs and daily expenses.

Despite these challenges, Don remains dedicated to Deb’s recovery. He has taken on the immense responsibility of providing her with constant care at home, ensuring she has the support she needs to regain her strength. They’re working hard every day—pushing through the small victories and setbacks, focused on the future where they can again share in activities they love together, like yoga and beekeeping.
