Help Don Smith fight against cancer
Donation protected
Don Smith, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, teacher and friend, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 renal cell carcinoma, which has spread throughout his body, including his kidney, liver, lungs, vertebrae, and lymph nodes. He now also has fractures in his spine and ribs, adding to his pain. Over the coming months, Don will be undergoing intensive treatment, with the goal of reducing his pain levels and giving him more time, as we continue to pray for healing.
Unfortunately, when Don turned 65 in January, he lost his eligibility for income protection insurance, leaving him and Debbie with significant financial hurdles. This journey will involve many additional expenses, including medications, mobility aids, and dietary supplements. As Deb is caring for Don full-time, she is unable to work, leaving them without a source of income.
Together, Mr. and Mrs. Smith have invested decades in Swan Christian College, touching the lives of countless students and teachers. They have spent years doing missions in China, and their generosity and support have been a blessing to so many. They have always been there to lend a helping hand, offer support, and share their unwavering faith – always going above and beyond to love others.
While your prayers are of the utmost importance, contributing financially would make an immense difference in their lives, helping to ease their burden and allowing them to focus on health and family.
Please join us in supporting Don and Debbie during this time.
Proverbs 3:27 “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.”
