Our dear Don Schmitt has left us too soon on and we are struggling to come to terms with the loss.

Donnie was the loving husband of Sam, the proud father of Jake and Wyatt and a friend to many. You could count on Don to be seated at the 50 yard line of the West Joliet High football games, or, during wrestling, in the gym – 3rd row, end seat.

So many of you have asked how you could help. Instead of flowers or casseroles, we are reaching out to our family and friends for help in covering the unexpected expenses that we are facing in the next few months as we get back on our feet.
