Help Don Ruggles and His Family During a Difficult Time

On Friday, February 14th, Don Ruggles, a dedicated City of Rochester refuse worker was seriously injured while working to keep our community clean and safe. Don has always worked hard to support his family and his community, and now, after this unexpected accident, he and his loved ones are facing a challenging time.

While Don is receiving care, his family needs help to cover the mounting costs associated with his hospitalization. These include travel and hotel expenses, as they are spending long hours by Don's side. On top of that, there is a possibility of delayed wages while waiting for worker's compensation to kick in, adding more stress to an already difficult situation.

For nearly 25 years, Don has been a steadfast worker, committed to keeping our streets clean and safe. He has given so much to others, and now it’s our turn to give back.
