Help Don Luis Return to His Family in Mexico

Hi everyone, my name is Alexia and I am trying to raise money for my local elote man so that he can finally retire and go home to his wife, kids, and grandkids. Don Luis is 77 years old and originally from Veracruz, Mexico. He has been selling elotes and raspados for over 15 years. Due to recent ICE deportations (kidnappings), Don Luis has been forced to stop selling raspados in the streets. Luckily, an amazing family has allowed him to sell safely from their home. After not being able to see his children face to face for over 28 years, he was able to see them via FaceTime a few months ago. He’s had an old flip phone for years. Seeing them made him realize how much he’s missed them and how much he’s missed out on throughout the years.
