Help Don Kirkpatrick fight Cancer
Donation protected
My brother-in-law, Don Kirkpatrick, was just diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. Don's fight will be especially hard since he has also been fighting MS (multiple sclerosis) for the last 10 years.

When my sister, Kathy Kirkpatrick (Brady), first met Don 38 years ago he was the picture postcard of American youth in the early 80s. Don was a carpenter by trade - strong, creative, and talented. If you gave Don a pile of two-by-fours, nails, and a hammer he could build anything you needed. Unfortunately as his MS progressed it cruelly attacked his nerves and muscles leaving Don challenged to cross the room even with the help of a walker.
These last 10 years fighting MS have been a daily struggle for Don and my sister; and now he is going to fight cancer with the strength he has left. In addition to his medical expenses there will be a host of other expenses that will challenge my sister Kathy, my nephew Zak, and my niece Erin, as they come to his side to share their love - and help comfort Don through this battle.

Don's daughter, Erin, captured his spirit best in the following blog post in 2014.

Recently Don supports Erin on a bike ride to raise money to fight MS in our communities.

Your donation today will help cover medical expenses, travel expenses so his children and grandchildren can visit, and cover lost wages while my sister helps Don battle again... just as she has helped him battle daily over the last 10 years.
Thank you for your support. Every donation no matter the amount makes a difference.
