Help Don Cole with Medical Costs from Stroke

On January 10, 2022 Don suffered a stroke while working. His friend, Johnny, who was working with him, recognized the symptoms and quickly got him to medical care. He was admitted to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. He spent several days in ICU in the neurology unit, then a few more days in the hospital and is currently in the rehab center at the hospital. Don is grateful for the excellent care he has received at Northeast Georgia.

 

Don has no use of his left arm and can only put limited weight on his left leg. He will need extensive rehab and care when he leaves the hospital and will be unable to work for an extended period. Don has no insurance and now, no ability to work. He needs current and future financial help as he has no means to support himself until his condition improves. Medical bills will be extensive.

 

His goals are to regain full use of his limbs and return to work. He completes several hours of physical therapy each day. He misses his music, and his most fervent wish is to play guitar again. He is working hard, but the journey is tough, and we don’t know how long it will take to be on his feet again and to be self-supporting.
