My 2-year-old son, Don Clark, was at his daycare, Children Learning Adventure, in Maricopa, Arizona. A teacher fell on him and broke his right femur in half. He received a closed reduction femur procedure and a spica cast.
Don is a very lively & energetic boy. He loves playing with his siblings, playing with his dogs, Mickey Mouse, Spiderman, & laughing.
The whole event was very traumatic for Don. He had a 40-minute ride in the ambulance from daycare to the pediatric hospital & then spent 2 days in the hospital. He is very confused about why he can't move his leg but definitely knows he was in pain and never wants to go back to daycare, which he definitely won't!
Don would love help from all the heartwarming people that would like to donate to him getting all the toys, snacks, equipment, physical therapy & physiological therapy will give him a happy & full recovery.
