Help Don and Cameron Start Over After Fire
Donation protected
A recent kitchen fire has forced Don and his son Cameron to look for a new home.
Don is a single Dad who, with his 23 year old son Cameron, have been making ends meet up until this unexpected hurtle.
Cameron was diagnosed as a child with Spectrum Disorder, a form of autism, which has presented challenges that Cameron and Don have been successfully dealing with. Cameron is one of the most selfless, sweetest people I have ever met! He works with his Dad at a local hardware store and enjoys helping their customers puzzle out the best solutions to their needs. Every day, Cameron rides his bike to work, and gets down to the business of helping his customers deal with their problems. Cameron will not stop looking for a solution until he finds it! Unfortunately, like many Americans, Don and Cameron live month to month, dependent on their next paycheck to make ends meet.
As you may know, individuals dealing with spectrum disorders find comfort in a routine. This tragic interruption to the May family routine is a major challenge for Don and Cameron as they navigate their daily lives.
Don and Cameron, unfortunately do not have renters insurance for their personal belongings which need to be replaced by the fire. Dishes, appliances, clothes and furniture have been rendered unusable. With no savings, this task is extremely formidable.
The goal for this Gofundme is to expedite Don and Cameron’s ability to find a new home and replace the necessities lost to the fire. Don didn’t ask me to do this but has been humble enough to allow me to facilitate this on his behalf.
Your help is deeply appreciated! Thank you!
Sincerely,
Darin
