My name is Domonique, and I’m reaching out for help after an unimaginable setback. I recently transitioned out of the military and was working hard to build a new life for myself and my 2-year-old daughter. We had just moved into our own apartment, but everything changed when a fire destroyed our home without warning. In an instant, we lost all of our belongings, our safe space, and our sense of stability.

Now, my daughter and I are starting over from scratch. We have no clothes, no vehicle, and barely any money to get by. The essentials—like diapers, wipes, and basic furniture—are out of reach, and without renters insurance, we have no way to recover what was lost. Every day is a challenge as I try to find a new place for us to live and figure out how to provide for my little girl.
