Help Domino Fix his Hairy Eyeball
Meet Domino.
Domino was found abandoned in the apartment building my husband does maintenance at. He was left there with no food, no water (though he must have found a way into the closed toilet), and was hiding behind the hot water tank for SIX WEEKS before he was found by the cleaners. It is amazing he is alive. We brought him home and just couldn't part with this little sweetie.
He has had a weird, half-closed eye since we brought him home, and originally the vet thought it was just conjunctivitis. When the symptoms didn't go away, I took him back to the vet and they actually discovered a growth on that eye that has hair on it. He was literally born with a hairy eyeball.
He needs very expensive laser surgery to have it removed without damaging his eye, and we could really use some help funding this surgery as it is around $2000 with consultation (and not including any medications or follow up exams he will likely also need).
