Help Dominika Live Longer

To all of Dominika’s family, friends, colleagues, and all who have known Dominika:

Our dear friend Dominika is facing the fight of her life against breast cancer, and we need your help. Over the past 6 years, Dominika has undergone countless treatments, worked full-time, and been a loving wife and mother to her 8-year-old son, all while battling this disease. Her courage, and strength are truly inspiring, and we are humbled by her determination and perseverance to live and provide a future for her son.

In May 2017, to her surprise Dominika was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She underwent surgery – double mastectomy with reconstruction, endured 4 months of grueling chemotherapy, went through radiation, then hormone therapy while still working full-time to provide for her family. In the meantime, tragically, her company let her go, leaving her without an income or insurance to cover her treatments. Despite this setback, Dominika refused to give up and found a way to pay for COBRA coverage so that she could continue receiving the care she needed. Luckily, she was able to find another job after 6 months that she stayed with for a few years until she decided to choose a long-term disability due to multiple treatments and serious side effects that no longer allowed her to work, even remotely.

In March 2022, she was dealt yet another blow when she was diagnosed with metastasis or stage 4 breast cancer. Normally her type of cancer metastasizes to bones, liver, lungs, and brain, sometimes all at the same time. She was lucky it only metastasized to two places. When this all started again Dominika changed the way she lived: she moved, switched jobs, changed her diet, exercise routine and researched everything she could. She also realized she had to manage the disease by combining conventional and unconventional medicine. Unfortunately, unconventional medicine is not covered by insurance. She has already spent thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket costs. 1 hour of naturopath consultation can vary between $200 to $600. Naturopathic clinics are even more expensive. Conventional medicine signed her up for a clinical trial of a new drug. However, she had to stop it as she caught the cold which resulted in pneumonia while cancer progressed. Slowly conventional medicine is running out of options. Currently, she is undergoing chemotherapy treatment, which in stage 4 can prove to be quite ineffective.

In order to extend her life, she needs funds for multiple unconventional treatments that can augment conventional treatment. However, as mentioned above, unconventional, or alternative methods of treatment are not covered by her insurance and come at a total of $50,000. This is where we come in. We need your help to give Dominika the chance to beat cancer and give her son the life he deserves with his mother by his side.

We cannot let Dominika fight this battle alone. Although we cannot take away her pain or cure this cancer, we can give her love and support to make this journey a little less painful.

As most of you know, Dominika is an energetic, generous, and caring human being. Her unwavering love for her son and her determination to beat this disease is what drives her forward.

The raised funds will cover:

∙ Current medical costs beyond her insurance coverage

∙ Meals and transportation to the institutes and clinics that provide alternative methods of treatment.

∙ Unconventional therapies: among many: ozone therapy, Insulin Potentiation therapy and other metabolic and naturopathic treatments that support conventional treatment, which is not sufficient for stage 4 cancer.
