Help Dominick Achieve His Dream Post-Transplant

My name is Dominick Petrillo. I have been on dialysis for the past three years while awaiting a kidney transplant. I am also completely blind due to diabetes.

I have found an amazing living donor who has so selflessly decided to donated a kidney and the surgery will take place October1. This is the greatest birthday present I could have ever received and it will bring a whole new beginning to my life. Without it, I do not know how long I would live. With it, I know I will live and achieve my dream of becoming a football writer and helping others.

Over the past five years, I have reached out to hundreds of organizations, teams and individuals to gain an opportunity. With no success. But with a new start on life comes an even more furvent determination to make it. To show what someone, even someone in the disabled community can do.

Over the past 11 years, due to my illnesses and blindness, I have been unable to work. This has left me financially humbled. The past three years of dialysis and the upcoming transplant surgery have only hastened this need. I am therefor becoming humble myself and asking for anyone who can donate or share this fundraiser to please do so.

I have met some wonderful people through my outreach. Many of them, I consider friends. I want to reward their faith in me by getting healthy and paying it forward to everyone I can. To do so, I need some help getting there. But, I will get there. Thank you for any donations or shares.
