Thank you for your help and support! You can read my original story below. Unfortunately, this surgery had to be broken up into 2 surgeries, about 2 months apart from each other. Most of the funds initially raised were used to help with bills and expenses from 11/21 through the New Year. I have now increased the goal slightly, and I’m currently raising funds to help with the recovery from my second surgery, which was performed two days ago on 1/16/25. In total, I will have had to take 2 months off from work and gigs when all is said and done. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated during this time!! **Original Story** 

My name is Dominic. After a recent trip to the emergency room, I’ve just learned that I will need to have abdominal surgery in less than two weeks to correct some ongoing health issues I’ve been experiencing.

While this may be a relatively routine procedure, the expected recovery time is about 4-6 weeks.

Although I’m expected to make a full recovery, I do have some financial concerns moving forward, specifically concerning lost income and expenses incurred during the healing process, as I will be unable to work during this time.

In preparation for the surgery/anticipated recovery time, I’ve gone ahead and canceled any remaining gigs through the month of November/early December, with the hope that I’ll be feeling well enough to begin playing again in mid December.
