Hi everyone,

We never imagined we would be in a position like this, but our family is facing something incredibly scary. Our sweet golden retriever, Dominic, has been diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) — a form of cancer — located in his foot. The cancer is aggressive, and the veterinarian has told us he needs urgent surgery to remove part of his foot before it spreads to the rest of his body.

Dominic isn’t just our dog — he is family. He has been with us through so many seasons of life, bringing comfort, joy, and unconditional love into our home. He is especially close to Colton, and their bond is something truly special. Seeing him in pain and knowing he is fighting cancer has been heartbreaking for all of us.

The surgery, imaging, medications, and follow-up care are more than our family can manage on our own, even though we are doing everything we can. This surgery is Dominic’s best chance to stop the cancer and give him more happy, healthy years with the people who love him.
