Hi everyone,

We’re raising funds to help our dear friend Dom, a DC-based hairstylist and drag performer, secure safe housing and support their family during an incredibly difficult time.

Dom recently returned from a transformative 4-month trip to Paraguay, where they worked with the trans community, offering hair and makeup workshops. While the trip was rewarding, it also left them with significant debt. Since returning, their chronic back pain has worsened, making it difficult to work consistently and leading to mounting expenses and housing insecurity.

To make things even more urgent, their current landlord is being forced to sell the home, and Dom must move out by mid-April. On such short notice, finding a stable place near work and their sick family is a major challenge.

We are asking for $5,000 to:

• Secure new housing and cover moving costs

• Pay off the debt accumulated while supporting the trans community abroad

• Help repair their parents’ broken water heater while their mother battles cancer.
