On October 6th, 2025, I enjoyed a Sunday Funday with my close friends. After calling an Uber to go home, I was dropped off at my house around 11:36 pm. The next thing I remember is regaining consciousness outside my house at 1 am, locked out, covered in blood, and with a dead phone. I managed to walk to William Penn Tavern for help, and upon seeing my condition, they rushed me to West Penn Hospital. There, I learned that my four front teeth had been jammed into my top gums, I had a large hole on the inside of my chin, and the bottom of my chin was gashed open.

After filing a police report, I was transported to Allegheny General Hospital for surgery to try to save my teeth. The doctors were able to pull three of them down, but one had split in half and could not be saved. For the month of October, I wore braces on my three loose teeth and was on a liquid and soft food diet, hoping the teeth would heal.

On November 7th, my braces were removed, but I needed to see a root canal specialist to determine if the teeth would survive.

On November 12th, I learned that my two front teeth could not be saved, leaving me with only one of my original four front teeth.

On November 24th, I had my two front teeth removed and a graft placed on my gums to prepare for implants. It will take four months for my gums to heal, and in March, I will return to the doctor to see if I can begin the next step toward getting implants.

The doctors have not yet told me the final cost of the implants, so the amount listed is an estimate and will be updated as soon as I know more.

I am not sure why this happened to me, and I can't pinpoint any reason I deserve this. But I am grateful for any donations, big or small, as I do not have insurance and this journey has already been expensive.
