Support Dolly’s health journey

This is Dolly. I found her wandering the streets of Franklinton, alone. For a week, I posted her photo online, checked for a microchip, and hung signs on every streetlamp around there, hoping her owner would come forward. But no one did. I took her to the vet when I noticed her struggling with ear and skin infections that needed care right away. She’s had a rough past—the vet believes Dolly is about 2-3 years old and may have already had one or two litters.
It’s been a year since I lost my beloved Luna, my best friend and constant companion. I hadn’t felt ready to adopt again, and taking Dolly in doesn’t mean I’m “healed”—that’s a journey I’m still on. But there’s a peace and comfort Dolly has brought that feels like a gift, and I can’t help but feel that Luna might have had a hand (or paw) in bringing her to me.
Dolly’s gentle, loving spirit makes her easy to welcome into my home. She’s exceptionally well-behaved: she’s fully potty-trained, doesn’t bark or destroy things. When I’m away, she just curls up and sleeps. Around kids, other dogs, and people, she’s confident, friendly, and wonderfully social.
Although I’m ready to commit to giving Dolly a safe and loving home, I wasn’t financially prepared for the veterinary expenses that come with that commitment. I’m hoping to raise funds to cover the cost of spaying her, as well as any remaining costs for her vaccines, medications, and wellness exams to give her the best start in her new life.
If you’re able to contribute, your help would mean so much. Every donation brings Dolly one step closer to a healthy, happy life. Thank you for listening to our story and for helping us give Dolly a fresh start.
