Help Dolly fix her ears!

I hate to really ask this, it’s embarrassing for me, but I’m am looking to get my ears fixed, or better yet, reconstructed. Let me tell you what’s happened :

my ear have become irritated, red and sometimes get infected. No matter what sort of jewelry I wear in them.

As a teenager I had been a fan of stretched Lobes. So much so that I went from a normal post earring, to a 14 gauge using a metal taper. I tore through my skin, and that was beginning of the damage I would do to my ears.

over the last 20 years, I’ve stretched my ears up, let them shrink, only to maybe go back up, sometimes going to a larger size. They’ve been as small as a regular Post earring, to being just over a size bigger than a quarter.

I have damaged my ears badly and they have stopped closing on their. Any jewelry I wear leaves my ears red and tender. And the pain would travel down the side of my face, down to the side of my throat.

I’ve made the decision that I no longer want these holes in my ears. These damaged lobes. I’ve tried to make contact with a couple of consultants, and even if I could get an appointment with them, my insurance would not cover the surgery because it’s a ‘cosmetic’, elective surgery.

Besides the consult, I’m talking anywhere from $3,000 and up just to secure my surgery and plan the surgery. We’ve also not accounted for anesthesia, if it’s done on a table or if there are any stays that needed to be done or any pain medication that needs to be taken.

However, I have found a man with over 20 years of experience. He has been located on the east side of Michigan. He travels a lot and I saw that he was going to be here in Pittsburgh on April five. I would really like to secure an appointment with him and have him fix my ears.

The appointment altogether would be $800 .

we would need money for gas and food . Possibly even an overnight stay.
