This is Dolly and her story is one of heartbreak, survival, and hope.

Dolly was born in August 2025 on the streets of Çalış, Turkey. Like so many street puppies, her life began in uncertainty but nothing could have prepared her for what came next. In December 2025, a devastating outbreak of parvovirus swept through her family. One by one, they became critically ill… and one by one, they passed away.

Dolly was the only one left.

Even her older brother from another litter didn’t survive.

When Dolly became sick, we rushed her to the vets. She was extremely unwell, and we truly didn’t know if she would make it. But with urgent veterinary care, love, and everything we could give her Dolly fought. And somehow, she survived. She beat the odds when everything was against her.

But survival came at a cost after everything she had been through, she was absolutely terrified the most frightened dog we have ever seen. She had lost her family, her safety, and her trust in the world. We couldn’t put her back on the streets. So we made the decision to save her.

Dolly didn’t cope well in a foster environment So we moved her to stay with Christine in Turkey, where she could have the time, patience, and quiet space she needed to heal. Day by day, Dolly is growing in confidence. She is learning to trust again. Learning that not all humans bring pain. Learning that she is safe.

Now we want to give her the ending she truly deserves.

We are raising funds to cover Dolly’s transport to the UK, where she will finally have the chance to find a loving, secure forever home.

She will travel safely and legally with:

Full vaccinations, Neutering, Health checks, Passport and paperwork.

Dolly has already fought for her life once and won. Now she just needs help to reach the life she has been given a second chance to live.
