Help Dolly Heal: Urgent Spinal Surgery
Donation protected
Hello friends, family, and kind strangers,
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits for our sweet French bulldog, Dolly Dior. She’s our fluffy little shadow—loving, gentle, and just three years old. A few months ago, Dolly suffered a suspected slipped disc in her lower spine. We couldn’t afford specialist care, so we gave her dedicated home treatment: medication, crate rest, acupuncture, and laser therapy. By some miracle, she recovered.
But earlier this week, Dolly yelped in pain after shaking her head—and quickly became immobile, panting, and distressed. Today, we rushed her to the emergency vet, where an MRI revealed a severe slipped disc between her C4 and C5 vertebrae, compressing her spinal cord. The only chance for her to walk again—and live without chronic pain—is urgent spinal surgery.
We’ve already paid $5000 for the MRI, and the surgery will cost an approximate additional $7000. We had insurance for Dolly, however due to one small note made by a previous vet our insurance no longer covers her for spinal injuries.
We want to give Dolly the chance she deserves, so we’re asking for help. Every donation, no matter how small, is a piece of hope for Dolly’s future.
Dolly’s Recovery Means:
• Relief from daily pain
• A chance to walk and play again
• A happy, full life with the family who adores her
If you can donate or share this page, we’d be endlessly grateful. Dolly has given us her whole heart—we’re fighting to give her the same.
With love and thanks,
Grace, Andy, and Dolly
