Hi, I’m Molli, the proud owner of Dolli, my 9 year old Pomeranian. This beautifully odd baby has been with me through everything, including the past two years of my life as a full-time caregiver for my brother, who has special needs.

At a recent vet visit, they found an inch-long mammary gland tumor diagonally from her right armpit and on her right ribcage. She will need surgery to remove it, and they also recommend spaying her at the same time to help prevent future tumors. Poms usually live to 15-16 years old. The vet informed me this makes Dolli closer to the middle of her life than the end, so we are optimistic for a great recovery. This was caught early, and things should be okay as long as we can get her into surgery soon.

Because I’ve spent the past two years helping care for my brother, I’ve only been able to work in smaller stretches while balancing family responsibilities. Much of my income from being a CNA On Call has gone toward caregiving and supporting my family, so finances are especially tight right now.

I know times are hard for many people, so I completely understand if donating isn’t possible. Even sharing this post means so much. Any little bit truly helps and is deeply appreciated.
