Help Dollar Walk Again: Support His Recovery Journey

Hello, my name is Jiayi, and I’m a PhD student at the University of Florida. I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my beloved dog, Dollar.

Dollar is only one and a half years old. He has always been my sunshine. He helped me get through many hard times, and his favorite pastime was running freely with me, bringing smiles and kisses to everyone he met.

On May 10, during my graduation weekend, a friend offered to take Dollar for a walk. Tragically, during the walk, Dollar was not leashed and ran off. A kind stranger found him and took him to the emergency room. Dollar had been hit by a car, suffering a broken spine and a fractured left front leg. The accident left him paralyzed.

Despite the future being difficult, I chose to fight for Dollar’s life. The surgery couldn’t let him walk again, but it could alleviate his pain and give him a chance at a happy life. After recovering, and with care, he may use a wheelchair and enjoy his favorite activities again.

As a full-time PhD student, my financial resources are limited. I’m seeking your support to cover the surgery and hospitalization. The bill is shown.
