Dolan has been furloughed until at least May, but it may go longer if the Stay Home order is lengthened again.
This last week, someone broke into her car. It would take way too much money to replace just the window on her out of date junker, since it would have to be specially made.
Lastly, the government does not think she exists. We have been trying for several weeks now to get her tax return and apply for unemployment but we haven't been able to talk to a representative, only robots, so we have not made any head way.
So, I am organizing this plea for help on her behalf. She does not know yet that I am doing this. But if we raise $5,000 then we'll be able to get her a cheap replacement car and help her make rent for two months.
She is too proud to ask for help and is desperately working on doing art commissions. If you want to support her longer term, signing up for her Patreon (www.patreon.com/pondsmith) would very much help.
I would love to get this funds before the beginning of May, because if her job does start up, she will need a car to safely get home after the buses have stopped running.
