Dohmoe has been my loyal companion for 11 years, bringing joy, comfort, and laughter to my life and to everyone who knows him. Recently, Dohmoe developed a rapidly growing mass inside his mouth. Within less than a month, it grew to the size of a silver dollar, and he’s become more tired, struggling to eat, and clearly in pain. Despite all this, he remains loving, goofy, and warm—still the best friend I could ever ask for.

Yesterday, Dohmoe was diagnosed with a cancerous oral tumor. The vet has recommended urgent surgery to remove the mass, perform full dental and jaw radiographs, and send the tumor for a biopsy. Depending on the results, he may need further treatment, including possible jaw surgery or chemotherapy. The costs are overwhelming, even with a discount, and the timeline is urgent—his surgery is scheduled for Monday.

Dohmoe isn’t just my dog; he’s a beloved member of our family and a familiar face at one of the local vet clinics, where he was a clinic dog for years. He’s touched the lives of everyone he's met along with so many in our own community. I’m not ready to say goodbye, and I want to give him the best chance to keep enjoying life with us.
