Help DogLost in the search for Ozzie
Hi, My name is Nikki and I am raising funds to help DogLost to locate and bring home Ozzie who has been missing on the Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall since 10/05/24.
Ozzie was lost by his owner when she was on holiday in Mullion, and has been on an incredible journey ever since, with regular sightings all the way along the coast. He is a feisty, brave and very lovable dog, who has won the hearts of the dozens of volunteers who have been out searching for him day and night, and have been printing and distributing hundreds of flyers and posters, and reporting sightings to a dedicated Facebook page and group.
Unfortunately he is too afraid for people to approach him and this is where DogLost have stepped in, tirelessly offering volunteer support and expertise. Now, thanks to the use of their traps and cameras, we have had some regular sightings of Ozzie and have him returning to a 'safe' area with food.
We would be so grateful for any help towards the costs of the search. We hope that will include reuniting Ozzie with his very concerned owner, who is desperate to see him again, and unfortunately has had to return home to the Midlands.
During Ozzie’s journey it has become apparent to us just how essential equipment like cameras and high quality traps are in securing a missing dog and just how much travel DogLost’s coordinator needs to do to cover ground day after day when there are sightings.
We would like to provide funds to help DogLost with this to enable them to continue their good work with Ozzie and with other missing dogs too once Ozzie is found.
Any funds raised that are not needed directly for Ozzie will be used by DogLost to also help fund their free website and all the awesome work they do reuniting lost dogs with their people!
