Doghaven Squamish and Doggy Rescue  Puerto Vallarta along with  some incredible volunteers have helped get some renovations done, water filter systems installed and 4 new yards built allowing the dogs to socialize safely .  Through  networking and collaboration we have became a  small team supporting an independent local rescue Doggy Rescue is now facing a desperate situation and need your support more than ever. With the arrival of the slow season, there is a shortage of volunteers, sponsors, donations, and foster homes. This time of year is crucial, and we implore you to lend a helping hand. The number of abandoned animals seems to be increasing this year, as well as rising prices , leaving more local Mexican families without homes. Moreover, the issue of overpopulation among puppies is spiraling out of control, leading to the spread of diseases, bacteria, parasites, TVT, hunger, and fear. These innocent dogs are desperately in need of assistance from fellow animal lovers. We cannot tackle this challenge alone. While many large rescue companies boast thousands of followers, donations, and a strong social media presence, smaller independent organizations lack the resources to market, advertise, and organize fundraisers effectively. In fact, many of these independent companies are struggling to stay afloat. Fortunately, there are free neuter/spay clinics that aim to reduce the street dog population. However, much more needs to be done. Doggy Rescue Pv stands out as one of the few rescues that allows dogs to roam freely, socialize, learn proper behavior, going on field trips , playing in the river and experience some semblance of freedom. This approach requires round-the-clock staffing, as well as food and medicine to support the well-being of 35 beautiful dogs.
