Doggie Goddess has potentially. found a new home! But we need your help to close on the
lease and create a safe, secure space for all of the pups. I have been working with dogs since
2003. Doggie Goddess was created in 2009 as I walked dogs and pet sit out of my home. In
2014 Doggie Goddess got it’s first facility. From 2014 to 2022 our business flourished. We
became a place where pet pawrents could leave their dogs and know that they were safe and
loved. We even survived the pandemic!
In 2022 an incredible opportunity to expand presented itself. I had Big Dreams for my small
business. However, the move to a larger space brought unforeseen challenges, particularly in
managing increased day-to-day operating costs. Despite my efforts to stay afloat, by late 2023,
it became clear that I couldn’t sustain the overhead expenses. I informed our clients of the
impending changes in December. After several attempts to negotiate with the landlord, we
were given until the end of March to vacate. With the guidance of commercial real estate
professionals, I have been searching tirelessly for the past few months however, finding a dog
friendly location and an affordable lease was starting to seem impossible. I was loosing hope
and feared that I would have to close the doors to my business that I love so dearly.
Today is the day that I am happy to announce that we found a place that will allow Doggie
Goddess to service our fur family and grow once again. To continue to be the go to place for fur
kids in the Los Angeles area. But we need your help. Bringing the new facility up to
operational standards, including construction requires me to do a fundraiser. Our clients are
praying for this miracle, and so are we. If you are able to help, any amount will be greatly
appreciated. If you can’t, can you please share our fundraiser?
All of the recent opportunities that Doggie Goddess has graciously accepted such as our TV segment on Destination LA, & the Lenovo grant/package, that is meant to help my business thrive in 2024, I know those are signs that I didn't come this far to just come this far. But I cannot utilize these opportunities without a facility to operate in.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any help you can provide.
