Hi! It really sucks having to ask my friends and family for money during these trying economic times, but unfortunately my dog, Dog, has been diagnosed with canine lymphoma. Since he has 0 other health problems and is extremely spry and active even as a senior dog, I've opted to do chemotherapy and hopefully two rounds of radiation therapy after his chemo. The chemotherapy is expected to give him 12 months of remission/survival, and the radiation therapy would add an additional 12-24 months for a total of 2-3 more years with my favorite adventure pal. Unfortunately, the estimated cost for chemo alone is $10,000, and the radiation therapy afterward will be about $2,000. I have already spent $3,000 on the tests and vet visits for his diagnosis plus the first three rounds of chemo, so I still have about $10,500 in costs coming my way over the next 4-6 months. I have ramped up my hustle-and-grind lifestyle to 70+ hours of work a week to pay for his treatment, but anything anyone can spare to help would be appreciated tremendously as I likely still won't be able to afford a full course of treatment on my own since the costs are large and coming at me fast.
