Help Dodi & Andy Rebuild After Fire Loss
Donation protected
Dodi & Andy Jensen of Washougal (my parents) need your help! On Tuesday, February 11th around 5am, their small house was burnt to the ground and my mother Dodi was severely burnt and is now in a critical burn unit at a hospital in Portland. They could really use any financial help that you could offer.
Very sadly, Dodi has sustained 3rd degree burns on her face, chest, arms, and legs from the fire. She was pulled from the fire and rescued by a neighbor (Logan).
Some of you know Dodi & Andy as the original owners of River Talk Newspaper, and others may know them for their public service efforts in our local communities of Camas, Washougal & Skamania, Co.
While Dodi is in the hands of amazing medical professionals, wonderful family, and a loving God, her trip back to recovery is expected to be a long and testing journey.
They both have medical insurance, but it’s not the best, and the costs of this tragedy are already building exponentially. They do have homeowners’ insurance as well, and it’s hopefully going to take care of providing them a new home… eventually.
They have lost every single thing they owned in their house, including their 2 dogs and 2 cats that perished in the fire.
I am hoping that the communities that they served for so many years will be able to help them now, during this great time of need.
Thank you!
