A few weeks ago, I discovered a mass growing on my cat Dodge’s hip. After taking him to the vet, we learned it was a tumor and he needed surgery right away. The biopsy results were heartbreaking: the tumor is cancerous, and Dodge now needs electrochemo therapy to give him a fighting chance. The cost of his treatment is overwhelming, and I can’t cover it alone.

Dodge isn’t just my pet—he’s my best friend and my hero. He’s incredibly affectionate, with a unique purr that sounds like a Dodge engine (which is how he got his name). When I’m sick, Dodge always tries to nurse me back to health with his cuddles and comforting presence. Three years ago, he truly saved my life. And just last year, when my friend had an epileptic seizure, Dodge rushed to her side, stayed with her until she was calm, and showed the same love and care he gives me every day.

The funds raised will help cover Dodge’s diagnostic scans to make sure the cancer hasn’t spread, his electrochemo therapy sessions, and the medications he’ll need for recovery.
