Help Guram Get to New York and Keep Telling the Truth
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Guram Muradov, documentary photographer and photojournalist from Tbilisi, Georgia.
For the past 18+ years, I’ve been documenting the political and social reality of my country—protests, human rights struggles, the lives of women in rural areas, and moments of silent resilience that rarely make the headlines. My photos tell stories of resistance, dignity, and truth.
I’ve recently been accepted to the International Center of Photography (ICP), one of the best photography schools in the world, based in New York City. This is a dream come true — a chance to grow more, learn more, and connect with a global community of visual storytellers. I’ve received a scholarship to help with tuition, but I still need to raise money to cover the living costs during my time in New York.
But studying and living in New York for a year is a huge financial challenge. Coming from a small country with limited resources, I’m doing everything I can to make this opportunity possible.
If you believe in the power of storytelling, in giving voice to those often unheard, and in supporting independent artists from underrepresented regions — your support would mean everything to me.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for believing in stories that matter.
