Doc has been my best friend for the past seven years, always by my side through every part of my daily life. Whether I’m studying, sleeping, watching TV, cooking, or just getting ready for the day, Doc is right there with me. He’s the kind of dog who loves car rides, head scratches, cuddling, and playing with his favorite toys. Every time I come home, he greets me at the door with a wagging nub and a big smile, making even the hardest days a little brighter.

Recently, Doc became very sick after accidentally eating a large amount of Xylitol. He’s now receiving 24-hour care at SVV in St. Louis, including fluids, medications, and blood transfusions. The veterinary team has been keeping me updated, and while Doc is fighting hard, the cost of his treatment is quickly adding up. My family and I are covering the cost as much as we can.
