Ned Pittman, known as 'Doc' to everyone in our beautiful community, is my dad and someone who has always been there for others. Recently, he faced unimaginable hardship when the Aspen Acres fire destroyed his entire livelihood and everything he owned. Just a month before, Doc was in a serious car accident, and we are grateful he survived the fire. When the fire came, Doc didn’t have a car and was unable to grab his clothes, his songs, or anything he may have gotten from my grandma Peggy before she passed. Now, he must face the overwhelming challenge of starting over with nothing.

Doc has always been a pillar of strength and kindness, offering help to neighbors and friends whenever they needed it. The fire has left him without a home, possessions, or the means to support himself. On top of that, he is still recovering from his accident, making this time even more difficult.
