Help Dobby Walk Again: Support His Recovery
Donation protected
My sweetest boy Dobby is the most active puppy I’ve ever had. He loves his daily walks, playing with everyone, he loves adventures and looking out for deer. He loves everyone and he’s loved by all. He is also my family farm dog. He protects all of our animals from anything that might harm them. He also protects my mom when she goes for her daily walks whether it’s in the parks or on the street because she feels more comfortable and safe when she’s not alone.
About a month ago he broke his leg and had to get surgery to put his bone back together. Since we live in the middle of nowhere, we had limited options on where we could take him to get help. After the surgery, the doctors said that his recovery went well and that he’s cleared. However, 2 weeks ago he was showing signs of pain and stopped walking again.
My parents brought him to the hospital just to find out there was a huge infection that they had to pump out and instead of providing him with immediate help, the vet sent him home with antibiotics while they figure out what caused it. How to spirit waiting for the results this condition is not getting any better.
Since he hasn’t walked on that leg in over a month, there is barely any muscle left on that leg, and the leg health is starting to deteriorate. If we don’t help him soon and get him into physical therapy, the leg will have to be amputated:( It would shatter our life if it has to come to that. It breaks our hearts already that he’s experiencing this much pain for this long. Our farm animals need their guard. My mom needs her protector. My dad needs his companion, and I need my sweet baby to get better. He needs help, please.
My family can’t afford insurance, and the medical system has already taken $15,000 for a problem they did not fix and that my family cannot afford.
If you have any means to donate, our sweet baby will be forever grateful! Even a little goes a long way. If you can’t, please share with your friends and family! I genuinely believe that we can save each other if we get together for one another, even if we’re strangers.
Thank you for donating, sharing, and being here to support! I’m so grateful for you.
