Hi everyone, I’ve been going back and forth about sharing this because it’s hard to ask for help, but many of you have followed Dobby’s journey and care about him so much.
Over the years, Dobby has been through more than most dogs his age. He has fought through IVDD, severe skin issues that caused him to lose all of his hair and required years of specialist visits, and facial paralysis. Recently he was also diagnosed with Cushing’s disease, which means ongoing treatment and medication.
Now we’re facing another challenge. Dobby has developed a serious tooth infection that is causing severe bleeding and making it hard for him to breathe comfortably. After speaking with our vet, we’ve made the difficult decision to move forward with dental surgery so he doesn’t have to keep suffering. The procedure is estimated to cost around $2,000.
I’m honestly embarrassed to ask, but we’re currently in a financial strain. Since moving to the U.S., I’ve been dealing with my own medical bills while also keeping up with Dobby’s ongoing care. His medications alone are now over $200 a month, not including his regular needs and vet visits.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount would mean so much to us and help Dobby get the care he needs. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing this GoFundMe would truly help more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read Dobby’s story and for all the love you’ve shown him over the years. We just want to help our little guy feel better again.
