Our sweet sphynx cat Dobby is having major eye surgery this Thursday, March 5th. For almost 2 years, he has bravely battled a corneal sequestrum on his left eye. Two weeks ago, Dobby suffered a small eye perforation—the most painful and serious complication of this condition. Despite everything, Dobby has been a trooper, enduring daily eye drops, oral pain medication, and antibiotics, along with many visits to ophthalmology specialists.

We tried very hard to treat his eye non-surgically, but now surgery is the only option to save his eye and give him the best chance at a healthy, happy life. The funds raised will help cover the cost of Dobby's surgery, as well as the many follow-up appointments and medications he will need as he works toward recovery. This has been a long and emotional journey for us, and we want to do everything we can to help Dobby heal.
