Help Pay Off Vet Bills and Treatment Abroad

Hello everyone,

My name is Nela some of you may now me as Bugs the drag.

I’m reaching out to you all for help with an urgent situation regarding my two beloved bunnies, Nyx and Faylith. Everyone who knows me knows how much they mean to me and how they help with my mental health. Both of them are two and a half years old, and recently, they’ve faced serious health challenges that have required multiple vet visits, tests, and procedures.

Unfortunately, in the UK, the cost of their care at an exotic vet specialist would have been thousands of pounds, with no guarantees of a positive outcome. I was even advised that they might have to be put down due to the severity of their issues.

Fay has problems with his teeth as from the type of breed he is and they overgrow and cause wounds in his mouth and he can't eat properly. He had two abscesses which were missed by UK vet, constant eye infections which I was told were blocked tear duct which wasn't true, anemia and fungus all over his body, which could be treated long time ago as I raised concerns with the vet here but they didn't do any tests to see what it is.

Nyx was in better condition but they felt lump in his belly and gave him syrup to see if it's just hair.

After many conversations with my parents who live in Poland and also have two bunnies and go to exotic vets, I found a more affordable option in Poland, where they received the treatments they desperately needed. Nyx and Fay both had dental procedures, and it was discovered that Fay’s tooth had grown into his cheek, causing a painful hole. In the UK, this would have meant an extensive and expensive procedure, but in Poland, they were treated successfully. They’re now on the road to recovery and will live healthy, happy lives. Thanks to my parents who agreed to take care of them there.

I’m humbly asking for your help to cover the cost of their vet bills in Poland as my insurance won't cover bills from abroad vet. The total amount for their treatments is significant, and I truly believe that this investment in their health will allow them to thrive for many more years.

All this covers travel to Poland and back on a bus with buns because unfortunately they can't fly, multiple visits, medications, test, procedures.
