- My name isDoaa. I am a nurse, a wife, and a mother. My husband Mohammed went out for treatment two days before the war.
- We are a family of six.
- Our home was destroyed. We’ve been displaced more than five times , running from one unsafe place to another, carrying our children, bags, and memories on our backs.
- We now live in a tent in extreme conditions no safety, no income, and worst of all: no food.
- There is a famine in Gaza. Food is either unavailable or unaffordable.
- .My husband Mohammed went out for treatment two days before the war. He has heart and rheumatic diseases. He was transferred to the West Bank because treatment is not available in Gaza. He cannot return to Gaza. And I carry the burden of displacement, hunger, and fear on my own.
- We already have four children
- Safa, our 15-year-old daughter dreamed of becoming someone great, but she lost her school and future under the fire of war.
- Hale, 14-year-old.She Lost her friends, her childhood, and all joyful memories.
- Yousef , 8-years-oldMy great son, Youssef, endured hardships in the absence of his father. He grew up carrying water and collecting firewood -he never tasted childhood.
- ADAM, our curious, bright boy who deserves a childhood, not trauma.
- And Now, my husband is facing illness alone abroad, and my children and I are facing repeated displacement and hunger alone in Gaza.
- Despite displacement, living in a tent, bombing, and lack of salaries, I did not leave my job as a pediatric nurse to serve patients.
- No shelter no food no safety
- we live on hope...and our only hope after god,is that you extend a hand to help us
- If you’re reading this, we ask you from the bottom of our hearts
- Please help. Every bit of support means food, medicine, and hope.
- From the rubble, we are still holding on to life.
