Help Doaa and her baby Mira

Hello, thank you for stopping by. Allow me to keep this brief. Doaa is a 23 year old mother from Palestine. She has a beautiful baby called Mira who was born just 1 week after the war in Palestine began .

Before October 7th, she and her family had a normal and peaceful life like you and me. They lived in a beautiful house where they made lasting memories, just like you and me. They had access to delicious food and clean water, like you and I do. They were able to sleep soundly on comfortable beds, like you and me.

But for the last year, she and her family have lived under gen*cide, and are in fact still living through it. Their beautiful home was destroyed. She has been displaced 14 TIMES, each time having to rebuild a small shelter from nothing, all the while caring for a little baby who hasn’t even turned 1 yet.

The shelters she manages to build herself are inadequate and do not protect against insects and the cold, only being made of some sticks and some cloths for cover. Winter is almost here, and the conditions are only going to worsen.

Currently she has nowhere to stay. She goes days on end without food and minimal water. Her brother narrowly survived an airstrike by God’s mercy, and she has lost people very dear to her. The scale of her suffering is unimaginable. You must remember that merely a year ago, she was just like you and me.

As if this isn’t enough, there is the matter of food and water. A bottle of water costs $20.

A carton of eggs? $74.

1kg of tomatoes? $55.

1kg of frozen meat? $82.

And this is just a small sample of the overall situation.

Doaa and her family have not had any meat in over 6 months. They eat one day and go hungry for the next 2. Is this any way for a human being to live?

But that’s where you come in. Because despite all the suffering and pain Doaa has been through, she is still doing her best to survive. She has not given up to the unfairness of this life. Her determination to survive and protect Mira is so pure and inspiring I honestly have no words to describe it.

But she can’t do it alone. Everyone has a part to play. Every dollar that is donated will go towards helping her survive and providing the basic necessities that she has been deprived of.

She will be able to purchase milk for her baby Mira, as well as some food for herself. She will be able to buy medicine, as she suffers from sinusitis and has been in pain for such a long time now. She will be able to build and reinforce her tent for the approaching winter. Let us make this a reality for her. Let yourself be the light in this period filled with only endless darkness.
