Help Doaa and Farah Find Safety and Health
Dear loving friends and family,

Please take a moment to read and share my wife’s and little daughter’s story. I want to help them get the medical treatment they need.

Doaa, my wife, was diagnosed with Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis at the beginning of 2021. Multiple Sclerosis is a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system). In MS, the immune system attacks the protective sheath (myelin) that covers nerve fibers and causes communication problems between the brain and the rest of the body. MS causes loss of body functions and could result in numbness, vision problems, difficulty walking, and paralysis.

Our lives in Gaza are further complicated by the constant conflict between Hamas and Israel, making every day a challenge. This turmoil has devastated healthcare services, hindering Doaa’s access to her vital medication, Ocrevus, which costs about $70,000 per year.

In our family, we have another brave little fighter – our daughter Farah, whose name means happiness. Farah battles with epilepsy, a condition that demands regular, specialized care, which is increasingly difficult to secure in our war-torn home. Despite her struggles, Farah’s spirit and resilience shine bright, reminding us of the joy and hope that still exist in our lives. Yet, the scarcity of medical resources and the constant unrest threaten her health and well-being.

We are urgently raising 150,000 euros to cover two years of Doaa's MS treatment and to relocate our family to a safer country. This move is crucial not only for Doaa's health but also to ensure Farah receives the consistent care she needs for her epilepsy, and to offer our family a chance for a peaceful, healthier future.

Your support can bring transformative changes to our lives. It can help restore Doaa’s health, secure Farah’s well-being, and offer our family a sanctuary away from conflict. We are immensely grateful for every donation and for the act of sharing our story with others.

I kindly ask you to share my story as far and wide as possible. The more people who learn about our situation, the closer we get to making a transformative difference in our lives. With your help, we can bring back hope and provide a chance for a better future for my family.
We are deeply appreciative of any support you can offer. Your contribution, big or small, holds immense value to us. I promise to keep you updated regularly on our journey, sharing our progress and challenges. Your kindness and generosity are invaluable, and we are endlessly grateful for it.

Join us in our fight against the hardships brought by MS and the challenges of living in a conflict zone. Your support is not just a donation; it's a beacon of hope and a step towards a brighter future for my family. Thank you for being an essential part of our journey toward safety, health, and recovery.

Please note, while the initial target date for achieving our funding goal was set for March 15th, 2024, we are aiming to reach it sooner, by February 15th, 2024, to expedite the necessary medical treatment and relocation plans.

Thank you once again for your compassion and action. Together, we can make a significant difference.

With heartfelt thanks,

Ibrahim

Note: Due to the complications of transferring to Gaza, I approved my brother Mustafa, who lives in Italy, to receive donations and then they will be transferred for the case of Doaa and Farah.
