Help My Father Recover After a Stroke.

On Thursday, September 25, 2025, my beloved father, Dmitry Makarenko, suffered a sudden and devastating stroke. Today, he is in the hospital fighting for his life and for the chance to fully recover.

My father is not just a dad to me—he is a man whose life has touched tens of thousands of people around the world. Through his ministry, countless souls found freedom, healing, and salvation. He has been a faithful servant of God, pouring himself into others, leaving an unforgettable mark on lives across the globe.

But now, the one who dedicated his life to helping others needs help himself.

In America, medical care, rehabilitation, and ongoing treatment are unbelievably expensive. On top of the hospital bills, there are medications, therapy sessions, and daily expenses that continue whether a person is sick or not. My father was always the main provider for our family, and today, while we worry about his health and recovery, we are also crushed by the financial burden that has suddenly fallen on us.

For anyone who has ever lived in immigration, you know the unique pain—it is hard to be far from your extended family, without the safety net of relatives or lifelong friends nearby. Here, everything costs more, and bills never stop coming. It feels overwhelming.
