With the heavy heart we are sharing the news of the sudden passing of our dearest friend Dmitrijs Aleksejevs. We are in total disbelief that this really happened. He was only 47, young and healthy, residing in San Francisco, CA.

It still feels surreal as it was a typical Monday morning. July 8, 2024. He joyfully drove to work, discussed recent UEFA soccer news from Germany with coworkers, started the day as usual. Typical day at work, regular breaks as usual, except for when Dmitrijs didn’t respond when called from his last midday Monday break. He was found sitting on the chair. Peacefully. Unresponsive. Neither CPRs nor paramedics could save him. He was gone. But way too soon.

Dmitrijs’s family still lives in Riga, Latvia, where he is originally from. They were absolutely devastated to learn that their loving son, brother and uncle had died so suddenly, so unexpectedly. All they want right now is to say a final goodbye and give Dmitrijs a proper burial in their home country - Latvia. It would be our honor and privilege to help them grand their wish and organize the transportation from USA to Latvia.
