Hello my name is D’Lana, the year 2025 has been my second most awful and painful year of my life. I had 2 full-time jobs but was wrongfully terminated from one. Had to cancel several important doctors appointments due to tight funds. My mental health has taken a turn for the worse. I haven’t paid the December Rent. My job has an EAP (Employee Assistance Program) and I was certain they were able to assist me without hesitations. I applied and was denied; “they” basically said I should learn how to budget my finances. Talking about adding insult to injury. I’ve contemplated suicide twice within the last month; but I believe my two grown daughters ages 22 and 19 are the reasons why my heart continues to beat. I’ve tried to explain my mental illness to my family and the only response is “you’ll be alright”. I cry everyday and remain hopeless; I’m in desperate need of help to pay my rent in the next 24 hours or I will be evicted. Any amount will be appreciated and God Bless You.
