Hi All, this has taken a lot of courage for me to do this. My name is DK, I'm a trans person living in Australia. I grew up in a very conservative family in Indonesia, and I have always been afraid to even slightly come out to any family member.

I first came to Australia to study, life took a 180 for me when my family found out i am a person of the LGBTQ+ community. My family has disowned me, and i have little to no support in Australia, and i don't have a home to go back to, as I fear my own country would not keep me safe. I don't have relatives or friends willing to house me & I'm struggling to land a job that would pay me decently or give me enough hours to survive.. like at all. Believe me, I am trying, yet no one has been willing to hire & keep me so far and right now, my current workplace hasn't given me enough hours to help me cover my bills

Im at risk of homelessness & currently don't have enough money to buy food, pay rent, and bills for the time being, and I've been eating food from charities or organisations that are willing to help me. Any donations at all would be really appreciated to help me get back on my feet until I find a stable job.
