Help Djay Serve and Grow in Faith on Her First Mission Trip

Hi! My name is Djay Seaward,

I’m currently a junior in high school, and this will be my last summer at home before I head off to LSU!

For a while now, I’ve been praying for the chance to go on a mission trip before I leave—and honestly, I wasn’t sure how it would happen. But the God we serve is amazing, and He made a way! I truly believe this opportunity is part of His plan for me.

This summer, I’ve been given the chance to go on my very first mission trip with the high school ministry at Bent Tree Church. We’ll be serving in Nashville, Tennessee, and staying at a local Church—sleeping on mattresses on the floor, no fancy hotels.

This isn’t a vacation. It’s about stepping out of our comfort zones to serve others, share God’s love, and grow in faith. I’m excited to see how God will work in me and through me during this trip. I believe this experience will stretch my faith, deepen my love for others, and allow me to be a light.

I’ve been able to raise most of the funds needed to attend, but I’m still working on covering the final portion of the cost. If you feel led to support me—whether through a donation, prayer, or both—I’d be incredibly grateful.
